Update:

I'm working on some concept art for Dusk. It should be coming along shortly.

Overview:

I like to play every game like it was a stealth game, and Warframe is no exception. I love to play stealth and for this reason I chose Loki, due to his invisibility power. However, despite some of his abilities, he's not a perfect stealth warframe. In fact, currently there isn't a perfect stealth warframe. I propose that a new Warframe is added; Dusk. Dusk would be a warframe adapted specifically for stealth play.

Powers:

*Grapple: Shoot a cord at a surface and fling yourself towards it, latching on. Can also be used to take down enemies stealthily. Energy consumption: 25.

*Confusion: Confuse all enemies within a certain area, allowing you to sneak past easily and silently. Also disables security cameras. Energy consumption: 25.

*Shadow: Disable all electronics in a certain area, enveloping you in shadow and rendering you invisible as long as you stick to the shadows. Could also be useful for teamwork, as you can turn off lasers for your allies. Energy consumption: 50.

*Stop Time: Temporarily stop time, allowing you to sneak past guards or hack a panel. You could also use it to kill an enemy before he reaches a panel to alert the ship. Energy consumption: 100.

*Maybe another ability, called distraction, which creates a distraction that causes nearby enemies to go investigate. Tell me in the comments if you like this one.

Stats:

Dusk's stats would be similar to Loki. Like Loki, lower Health, Shields  and Armor but faster Sprint Speed. To make him different than Loki, however, Dusk has different Sprint Speed and Power, along with minor differences to Health, Shields, and Armor.

Health: 80.

Shields: 70.

Armor: 45.

Sprint Speed: 1.7 (one decimal faster than Loki)

Power: 175 (25 more than Loki)

Crafting:

Like the rest of the frames, Dusk would have to be crafted in order to get it without buying. You would need to obtain the Helmet, Chassis, and Systems, then have the sufficient funds to craft it each individual part. Once those are crafted, you can put them together to form Dusk. I propose that for Dusk to be added, a fitting new boss would have to be added as well. As there are only 2 Infested bosses, it seems they are something short in bosses. Therefore, I believe a new infested boss be added.

Medusa:

Medusa would be the newest addition to the Infested. She would be the biggest boss, twice as tall as Rhino, and be very powerful (Levels 35+). Residing in Europa as the final boss, she would be very dangerous and going up against her solo would not be advisable. While she herself is very slow, only walking as fast as most other Infested, she can call upon her brethren to charge at you. She also has the ability to cough slime at you, which will stick to you and pin you to the floor for several seconds. If you manage to avoid the deadly attack, the slime will stay on the floor waiting to trip you up again.

She has one more power; her most dangerous ability. If her eyes start glowing, you'd better seek cover, because she'll release a wave of energy that will heavily damage any warframe in the way, as well as freeze them for a few seconds. To kill her, you'll have to shoot at her eyes when they glow, but make sure you get to cover before she releases her energy wave.

Conclusion:

For somebody who always is looking for a way to play stealthy, this would be a great warframe to have. I really hope they consider adding an all stealth warframe. Leave any further suggestions in the comments and I'll try to look through them. Thanks!

Right, I understand that Banshee is one of the few warframes in the game that has some stealth abilities, but she also have some combat abilities and she can be pretty good at crowd control. I'm talking about a warframe specifically for stealth and nothing else. Not to mention the abilities I came up with are different and would probably work better for stealth than Banshee's abilities. Sonic boom isn't exactly what I'd call silent.

she has one ability thats stealthy and it doesnt really have that big of a range

2 actualy, the other one tracks enemies and gives them a weak spot wich you can use dispatch them faster/easier if you hit that spot. Also the range of abilities can be increased with mods. And her other 2 abilities are best used incase you get caught so you have a kit for both situations, also theres a silent weapon the Paris and sentinel that lets you become invisible when you're near an enemy.

Wouldn't the silence ability make her sound quake ability silent? it says gunfire and WARFRAME attacks on the silence ability.

Also if its just focused 100% on stealth, what about when you get caught?

What's wrong with having a completely new warframe that's better suited to stealth play than Banshee? The abilities are not the same, and neither are the stats of the warframe itself. If my idea was implemented, they would be completely different and have different uses.

Have you heard of banshee? Do you know what her powers do?

Banshee's powers:

#1 Knockback and damage

#2 close to nothing, allows you to stealth kill an enemy with a gun rather than melee, but WILL NOT allow you to stealth through entire rooms, much less missions.

#3 Amazing damage against bosses

#4 massive AoE damage over time.

Huh, a single skill that is vaguely stealth related and almost always useless.

Yep, Banshee sure is the Stealth frame that the OP wants *Sarcasm*

Seriously though, we do not have a stealth frame right now.

You know why? Because this isn't a stealth game.

Warframe is about War, with 'Frames. Fighting, killing, assassinating, looting, running. A lot of running.

Can we stealth? Yes, and it's an amazing feature that I hope they expand.

Should every 'Frame have a stealth ability? I think it would be nice if every 'Frame had one power with stealth-ish abilities.

That said, I do not think we need a stealth based frame. I do not think it would be a positive addition to the current game, or what I expect the future of the game to be.

If you REALLY want to play stealthily, get Loki, Ask, or Banshee and the Paris bow. Then equip a Shade sentinel.

Now you can spend all the time you want sneaking, cloaking, and assassinating your way through missions.

Is it perfect? No, but it's about as good as Warframe is going to have. Stealth is a feature, not the entire game.

The point is not getting caught. If you have only stealth abilities, and you know how to use them, you shouldn't get caught. For example, say an enemy is running for a panel. Use confusion to stop him, or grapple him to you, or stop time and kill him. This is why this warframe would be great for stealth.

Stealth should be a viable option and something that will give you an interesting reward, rather than going full out rambo on everybody. I don't mind run-and-gun mechanics, but I believe that if you want to do something differently, you should get a choice that isn't kind of useless, as stealth is a little useless currently.

I don't say it isn't, the problem is the warframe has to have something that can "help" him/her when you get caught, and if the answer you'll be giving me is "i'll take good weapons for that" then my answer is gonna be "get a paris or a shade sentinel, it will make stealth easier".

- Banshee is kind of a stealthy assassin with her skills, and 2 of her skills can be used for stealth, idk if you tried( i sure didn't) doing a combo of silence + sound quake(if this works its one hell of a massive stealth massacre in a large radius).

And I didn't say that banshee is what he wants, it was more of a "sugestive reminder".

From what I see what he wants is a Rhino of stealth(making stealth runs fast, simple and easy). And as is Rhino is pretty much nearly immortal because of his iron skin. Idk about you but that would get really boring really fast, I was really hyped to get rhino the first time, and got tired of him fast cuz at certain point I was just unkillable and now hes been buffed on his iron skin, you wont even budge while its on.

The thing is, the powers that are normally used for stealth could also be very effective if you're caught. If you're getting piled, you can confuse the enemy and get away. If you're being chased, you can stop time or fire a grapple and zoom away, or turn invisible and melee them. So what is initially used for stealth could also be an extremely effective combat warframe while maintaining the stealthy feel.

Like I said... A "Rhino of stealth". But I get what you mean, but that kind of warframe would need to be worked/tought out alot in order to not make it "unstable" like rhino is right now. I love the damn thing but he needs a nerf on that iron skin.

I certainly hope that if they implement a stealth warframe, he wouldn't be super overpowered. I'm thinking along the lines of a "frail" looking warframe at first, with light armor and shields, but with deadly and silent abilities.

WOOOO This is a really cool frame idea, but would only be useful if a "Stealth" Mission type was added. All of his powers are rendered useless once they get alerted via the magic control panel that is activated by being within 10m of it lol

Well, like I said before;

i like the idea of a stealth primary frame. "Grapple" sounds like a great skill.. fire it on too a wall, zip up to that wall and hang there until u jump down or hang there and take out some targets from a distance.. and yes i think the grapple should be able to hold u to a wall...

It would be cool if you could have magnetic gloves and climb around on walls...

I have both a Paris and a Shade sentinel, and I like them very much for my stealth runs, but even with them stealth isn't a great option and adds no further rewards.

It seems like you want to make a mix of most of the Warframes already out.

"Grapple" being the same as the Ash's Teleport.

"Confusion" being the same as Nyx's Chaos (without the actual chaos).

"Shadow" being the same as Loki's cloaking techniques, as well as Ash's.

                and

"Stop Time" being the same as Rhino's Rhino Stomp, but "stealthier".

Kind of like a hybrid of more than four different Warframes. Why not just make one that has all the abilities, except they don't do damage, and we can call it "Stealthy"?

To me, they're not really a mix at all.

Grapple wouldn't be the same as teleport. Grapple would mainly be used as a utility rather than a combat ability, allowing you to latch on to walls, or ceilings. "Teleport" is used more as a combat ability, as Ash towards the enemy, bringing them into melee range.

Confusion may seem similar to Nyx's "Chaos", but it's probably closer to Banshee's "Silence". That isn't to say that they're the same ability; they're actually pretty different. The idea for Confusion is to confuse the enemy, simply allowing you to sneak past. Banshee's ability just limits the perception to gunfire and footsteps and such.

Shadow, I admit, has the same idea as Loki's or Ash's invisibility. However, where Ash and Loki pretty much share the same ability, Shadow is a little different. Instead of cloaking you for a set amount of time, a small area is enveloped in shadow. While in this area, you are permanently invisible. Outside the area, however, you can be seen.

Stop Time, I believe, is much different than "Rhino Stomp". Rhino Stomp slows time and is used to knock over enemies, as a combat ability. Stop Time, on the other hand, completely stops time (Not for your teammates), allowing you to sneak away, make a stealthy escape, or stop an enemy from reaching a panel. A lot more stealthy than Rhino Stomp, yes, but pretty different.

Looks like your stealth was very well thought out.   I would like to see a mission style that required stealth more, and also make is so that the WHOLE FREAKING SHIP is alerted when they find you.'

only suggestion I might have is increase power level of Stop Time to 125 or so, to make is even less spammable, and maybe explain shadow a bit more.

Is it just a stationary cloud of invisibility or will it wander around/ follow you for a set time?
