no.. you will only get half of the steel meridian xp toward redveil. once your maxed with steel , even if its during a mission, you will not receive anymore xp for redveil.

I'm balancing 4 syndicates and have done some testing on this. You actually can get uneven numbers after you have maxed rep for one syndicate. It has happend to me on several occations that the supporting faction get more than half of my main faction when I have reached a cap. So it does happen.

From my experience you don't waste any rep while wearing a sigil of maxed syndicate. It just simply gives zero standing to that syndicate, and all the daily cap that you have left is not used by maxed syndicate. So if you have 22k standing cap left, wearing Steel Meridian sigil and Steel Meridian is maxed, then all 22k is for Red Veil.

Hope I didn't mix syndicate alliances.

Oh and I'm not shure but I think that in given example standing towards Red Veil is still half slower than when wearing Red Veil sigil.

Were you by any chance doing that syndicate's mission?

As seen here, I reach max with Cephalon but still get more than 50% rep for Arbiters and Red Veil. So as mentioned earlier since I try to balance 4 syndicates I always watch these numbers and make sure I change sigil to not increase my negative standings

just out of curiosity, did that 16355 towards suda fill it to max? if so i am thinking maybe the negative veil and positive arbiter values where calculated on what you would have earned towards suda if you would not have capped it?

it's not more than half, the 16k you got  got cut because of the max rep cap, but doing the math on how much you got on arbiters, had you not exceeded the cap, you should have gotten around 20k on cephalon, about 4k wasted, but only for cephalon.

Yeah, he didn't get what he would get if cephalon wasn't maxed, but the point is that this 4k he didn't get doesn't count towards daily cap. This is what the question was in original post.

Yes I'm well aware of that but I posted as a reply to this post....

you still get rep for red veil, that's how I'm working towards my 4th syndicate, without loosing rep fro the other syndicates, I have maxed steel, and still get red veil rep

i am only doing 3 so i am not experienced in this balancing war, but are you telling me if you have suda sigil on and suda is maxed that you can go do missions and get neg veil and positive arbiters and zero suda?

As I said, that's how I'm leveling red veil, doing steel meridian missions with the steel meridian sigil, so I don't lose rep on arbiters and suda, hence maxing 4 syndicates out of 6. It's not efficient, but I'm not losing rep on the other syndicates, so it's a win to me.

well you lose on veil when doing arbiters or suda thou. thats where the juggling comes into play.
