Affinity Shunt

I want a consumable item that shunts all affinity to one item. Warframe shunt, primary shunt, secondary shunt, melee shunt, companion shunt. I want to use it when unlocking vaults. So I imagined it lasting thirty seconds. But maybe it could last five minutes or the length of a mission so that it applies to other situations. I can sneak into a Ceres vault with a level zero weapon, but I'm still splitting it with the warframe so a shunt would still have value. This is affinity I'm already earning, I'm spending resources to craft these items, and my other items receive no affinity, so I don't see how this would conflict with boosters. The amount of affinity earned is not affected so syndicates are unaffected.

...to be honest im not following. Is this something that makes ONE item get all your xp, or a storage device that holds excess xp to use later?

I believe the reason for the affinity system is the way it is, is to encourage players to use the weapon or Frame they are currently leveling. A feature like this would be very nice but, I don't see DE implementing anything like this anytime soon.
