Melee For Infested?

What would you guys suggest for an Infested Melee?

 

Dual Zoren, Dual Ether, Dual Heat Swords..... ?

I pefer Scindo thanks to its charge damage, but it is very slow and when you start using it it is a real pain in the &#!, just give it some time and you will love it

Dual Ether does bonus damage against infested.

Dual Ether - triple damage to non-ancient infested, fast attack speed (even more so with a maxed out Fury mod)

 

Dark Sword - triple damage to non-ancient infested, huge charge damage

Scindo and Gram, no stagger, the best way to deal with them that i can think of, non-ancients and ancients alike,

both got bonus damage to Infested, both got anti-stagger = no Charger stunt lock, found an Ancient ? spam Charge attack and it's done

just don't forget to add ice damage mod.

Dual Ether does bonus damage against infested.

Plus the stagger allows you to go toe to toe with most things and not get touched, if you time it right.

Has anyone tried Dual Zoren Crit Build? Is this feasible? I would imagine crit hits + triple damage to infested + fire mods + crit mods = epic win

Best setup for normal attacks is the Scindo, because you're immune to the charger/runner stagger while swinging. Drop and slide attacks are awesome, and execute is highest damage of any weapon (helpful for anti-ancient)

 

Best setup for charged attacks is Dual Zorens, because a single charged will take out a lesser and it has the fastest charge time. Can also hit multiple targets when needed, and the drop attack is capable of knockdown for anti-ancients. The Charge DPS is among the highest in the game, just below Furax and Dark Sword, but requires spamming the charge attack against Ancients.

I endorse Dual Zorens with high charge speed and charge damage.  Crit mods aren't awesome and I would prioritize other things first if you don't have a potato.

I love my Dual Ether vs infested, but I haven't tried the bladed heavy weapons yet.

On lvl 30+ heavy weapons are the best withReflex Coil, Killing Blow, Fury, all of them maxed

What he means is that the animation of the Gram is the fastest after charge. All heavy weapons have the same 2 second charge time.

 

It honestly depends on your playstyle. If you want to play it safe, Fragor jump attack into charge does large knockdown AoE with decent damage + 200 charge damage, totaling around 280 damage, give or take. Slap ice on it, and you now have near broken crowd control.

 

Scindo has the largest charge attack and normal arc.Slightly slower than Gram, but has better reach.

 

Not much to say about the Gram, except its the in-between of Scindo and twin swords.

Personal preference is Gram. The difference in speed compare to Scindo is really noticeable and I'd rather kill the infested who's closest to me fast rather than hitting more of them in the back.
