Xiusa
Name: Vulcan, the FurnaceStats:65 armour100 power115 health100 shield capacity150 stamina1.05 sprint speedPassive: Dormant: Vulcan charges up an explosive attack after 15 seconds of not attacking. While in the charging state you gain a stack of extra damage every 1 seconds. His next attack will deal 1 / 2 / 3 / 4% bonus damage per stack divided between heat and impact and affecting the enemy hit by the attack with both heat and impact status. After the attack is made, Vulcan will begin charging again. Can stack up to 60 stacks, but once an attack is made, all charges are expended. If you miss, charges are still expended. Affects first target hit only. All abilities will trigger Dormant, even if they don’t deal damage. Molten Mortar: Launches 2 / 3 / 4 / 6 molten rock projectiles, landing randomly within a target area of 7 / 8 / 9 / 15m, each dealing 55 / 75 / 95 / 125 damage split between heat and impact in a 5 / 6 / 7 / 10m radius where it lands. Infinite cast range. Costs 25 energy. At least one rock will land directly on the cast point. Lava Spill: Vulcan sprays an area with lava, dealing 25 / 50 / 75 / 100 heat damage every second for 4 seconds before cooling. Any enemy within the area when it cools is rooted in place for 4 / 6 / 8 / 10 seconds. Costs 50 energy. Subduction: Vulcan forms a new layer of armour on himself while scraping his old one and pushing it down, causing him to remove debuffs and knockback enemies within 3 / 3.5 / 5 / 7m. Vulcan melts the debuffs into armour. For every debuff removed, Vulcan gains 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 armour for 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 seconds. Costs 75 energy. Eruption: Blasts an area with tectonic energy, hitting all enemies caught with an impact status and slowing them by 20 / 30 / 40 / 60% for 5 / 5.5 / 6 / 6.5 seconds. Vulcan then begins to channel power from his core, unleashing it in a beam of energy that deals 50 damage split between magnetic and heat every 0.2 seconds for 4.2 / 4.6 / 5.2 / 6.2 seconds. Tectonic blast has a length of 15 / 17 / 21 / 23m and a width of 6 / 8 / 10 / 12m. The beam has infinite range and a width of 1 / 1.5 / 2 / 3m. Both magnetic and heat have a 7 / 14 / 21 / 28% chance to proc every tick. Vulcan can aim the ability freely, but the beam travels to the crosshair slowly. Costs 100 energy. Applies Dormant stacks for the entire duration. Enemies that die to this melt. Mod Effects:POWER DURATION: Affects all duration components. Affects delay on Dormant when not attacking inversely. Does not affect charge per second on Dormant.POWER STRENGTH: Affects all damaging components. Affects amount of molten rocks launched from Molten Mortar. Affects armour gained from Subduction. Affects slow and proc chance from Eruption.POWER RANGE: Affects all range components.POWER EFFICIENCY: Affects all energy consumption.Ability Augments:Molten Mortar: Blazing Remnants: The molten rocks leave behind a field of fire for their entire explosion radius that deals 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 heat damage every second for 5 / 7 / 9 / 11 seconds.Lava Spill: Magma: Enemies that are rooted continue to take 25 / 50 / 75 / 100% of the initial damage over the root duration.Subduction: Deafening Shift: Subduction pierces enemy auditory senses within 6 / 8 / 10 / 12m, causing them to go deaf for 5 / 8 / 11 / 14 seconds.Eruption: Controlled Eruption: Eruption now moves 10 / 25 / 45 / 75% faster. RainNero
Some of the durations you've listed seem a little excessive, especially on Lava Spill's rooting. Dormant also needs a max stack cap, or the potential to be OP is too great. On another note, Vulcan is too easy and obvious a name. I understand the reference to the Vulcan of Roman Mythology, but Hephaestus would be a slightly less obvious -but still valid- name choice. -.SP.-G43riel
why so many fan concept warframes with passives skill nowadays? geezboth first and second skill seem like lame copies of existing abilities 3 is really interesting 4 it's just i don't know how the describe it... also do we really need another fire frame? I understand the reference to the Vulcan of Roman Mythology, but Hephaestus would be a slightly less obvious -but still valid- name choice. The rooting only keeps enemies in place. They are free to attack during the time. It'd be excessive if it stopped them from doing any sort of action. I wouldn't really call it OP since all of the bonus damage is gone even if you miss your attack. Any sort of attack will trigger Dormant, including abilities. If you copter or do a directional melee or simply miss a bullet, all the damage goes into that swing or shot. And if you hit it, it only affects the first target you hit if it hits multiple units. The only exception to this is Eruption, which is only going to be OP if every enemy spawned in the mission was lined up. I will look into the numbers and see how the passive feels with a cap as opposed to none. Also, Frost and Ember are obvious names as well. why so many fan concept warframes with passives skill nowadays? geez both first and second skill seem like lame copies of existing abilities 3 is really interesting 4 it's just i don't know how the describe it... also do we really need another fire frame? Because Passive abilities are coming to Warframe. Why are you upset by this? If you have a problem with them please be constructive about it.
