i have this really annoying issue where every few minutes (6-11 minutes) the game freezes for about 10-18 seconds and i have disabled almost all settings under Display put resolution on 1280x768 (my monitor 1920x1080) and in the launcher i disabled 64x mode (64x gaming desktop) directX 10 and 11 and disabled the last 2 options (i forgot the name of the settings) and it's really annoying becuase no one else has this issue (i'm fairly sure) every else's games freeze than crash (that's what i've red) but mine freezes and than comes back fine

All Drivers updated

Specs

CPU: AMD A10-6800K APU with Radeon HD Graphics    4.10GHz
GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 760 OC (i haven't overclocked it)
PSU: 700W Thermaltake
CPU Cooler: DeepCool
MotherBoard: GigaByte GA-F2A88XM-DS2

Fans: 4 really good fans

and i can run BF4 almost max settings without it freezing

One, BF4 is awesome.... if you play with the right people (not hackers) and people your level

Two, i do all the missions solo i never play with others and is there a way to remove people from the network that way i'm the only one... a.k.a hopefully less freezing

That should be plenty. Looking at the specs of the components I can't determine that something is not reacting well with eachother / bottlenecking components.

Other than that I can play the game max settings and sometimes have freezes as well, mostly in my Liset though. For some reason it seems more 'demanding' than other places. But those are freezes of barely 1 or 2 seconds.

The fact that you get a freeze for 10-18 seconds is an absolute mysterie to me (sorry that i can not be of better help).

The only tip I can give you at the moment is this:

I have read other topics from people with graphics issues like this and I've seen people suggesting to contact support. They seem to have a specialist in their team who can tell you exactly what kind of steps you need to follow to find out the problem.

Also I thought that Nvidia Physics might be a problem, but your GPU has enough VRAM and since you turned down alot of the graphics like you said, I can't think of that as a problem.

When you have a freeze are you able to see in your task manager how much CPU is in use at that moment. Maybe other programs in the background are causing you the trouble.

Out of the top of my head those are the things I can think about where you should take a look.

i found out that the game just stops responding (i went windowed mode) and it just stops respond than responds again but i did contact support as well and i could play the game fine if it froze for like 1-2 seconds every few minutes that i wouldn't care about but 10-18 just annoys me

Sleep well then. Isn't it a little early for someone from Scotland to go to bed so early? Or maybe you work during nightshifts...

Haha anywayz I hope it helps even if it's just a little.

Also keep posting and updating! I know that alot of people on these forums have plenty of knowledge about where to look and possible causes. Like WingedCrusade mentioned, the overal connection to the game might be an issue, especially now with the new update. I can imagine that the servers are loaded. That will be noticable, even when soloing. But judging from you original post, I guess this has been a problem for you even before U16 launched?

Hope you can figure it out soon so you can enjoy the game like you should ;)

He*, and I have absolutely no idea, but like I said, I sometimes get a freeze in my Liset as well, although not as long as 10-18 seconds. Whatever causes that is a mysterie to me as well. Even though it annoys me, when it happens I can't figure out for the life of me why or how.

Also I hope that the support will contact you on this matter. I believe his name is [DE]-Glen, but not sure. He knows alot about issues like this if I read other posts correctly. But I give it 4 options in total:

1: It is the game running weird for you for some reason. Did you verify/optimize the cache? Also have you tried to simply redownload the whole thing?

2: Connection, but you stated you have a good connection. Maybe the distance between Australia and the servers is buggy, but I have no idea how or why... maybe someone else from Aussie can confirm this?

3: Your system, but you gave us the specs and like I said it should not be a problem. You are well above the minimum requirements and also the recommended ones. On the other hand the motherboard specs do tell me that Nvidia cards till 600-series are supported. I don't see the 700-series which is your GTX 760. But if this is the reason, then other games should be giving trouble as well and you said BF4 runs just fine...

4: having fans is one thing, but actually keeping temperature to an acceptable level is a whole different story. My system has 11 fans in it (including the 3 i have on my GPU and the 2 for my CPU and my RAM (not neccesary but looks amazing XD) and standard stuff like my PSU fan). On a warm summerday it still reaches temperatures that are not dangerous for my system but they are a bit to high for the amount of airflow I can create. That also reminds me, I need to clean it soon -.-'

And Aussie is a pretty hot country as far as I know. Maybe AND JUST MAYBE, you GPU is creating to much heat, and during the cool-off it freezes your game. But that is very far-fetched...

Other than these I have no idea what could cause this for you since i'm not a PC expert. I know how my system works and what I can and cannot do with it. Thats does not mean I know every system sadly.

Edit: Some spelling mistakes detected >.>
