Not throwable. Then it's not melee anymore. The Glaive is bad enough. However, I would like to see polearms with blades at the end, or spears to melee with.

Let the glaive bounce around, but give me a straight line thrown javelin any day. 

 

 

Or a trident/spear/naginata polearm any day.

I'd actually like to see a melee spearlike weapon that attacks in a straight line, piercing. Doesn't matter if the charge is a throw or not. Would differentiate it quite a bit from the 20+ other melee weapons already available.

since they're going to implement stuff like throwing stars and knifes, if i recall correctly, that takes up the secondary weapon. i wouldnt mind if javelin works similarly, it would be much slower than throwing stars and knifes(obviously), but will hit much harder and impale to walls. but it would seem weird to have a bundle of giant sticks as a secondary weapon strapped to the waist.
