Soma Prime is the new Soma.

Vaykor Marelok is the new Marelok

Tippedo is the new Dual Zorren (coptering).

Dread is still the Dread

PvP is a real thing now. They cut everything out of the game and are only allowing a few things into PvP. Supposedly they'll be SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY adding more, but they're already talking about adding more to it and committing to new stuff being added pre-balanced when our first round of stuff isn't right yet. :/

SHARKWING hype is the new Archwing hype. Fish pushers are the new bird lifters. They scrapped swimming and are going to use archwing for open water sequences.

Focus has been all but confirmed as scrapped but the forums never got the memo. In two or three devstreams in a row they basically said that all the things they wanted to do with the Focus system has been divvied out to syndicates and raids and mods and augs. I still see focus threads about every night.

Ability mods are gone and WF's are 8 slots now (+ Aura still) and you may have been refunded a big pile of forma. Unfortunately they're doing this power augmentation thing where you equip mods to modify your powers. It doesn't look good so far. Lots of people are worried they will use augs to fix skills that should just be fixed, but lots of the usual forum rants about how this or that is TOTALLY USELESS or this other thing is TOTALLY OVERPOWERED make a real discussion about where that line actually is all but impossible.

There's an NPC that shows up in the relays hubs (player lobbies) and sells stuff for a token currency which you get by trading in those unwanted old prime parts. He sells everything from cosmetics, minor weapon upgrades and sometimes actual primed MODS that go to ten ranks instead of five, such as Primed Continuity.

Still no Infested Mios. Still coming Soon.

There's a floaty blue dude up the elevator and to the right in the relay. He does codex scanning 2.0 and there are teleportubes to take or practice the mastery rank tests behind him. You can buy the new type of codex scanner from the dude behind him. The current target for the blue dude is displayed in his room and sometimes when you join a mission he'll mention that one is there. There is ONE SPECIFIC mob you need to scan four points on. It will try to run and use abilities but it half asses it like a capture target that's already exhausted. It will be highlighted blue and be called "Sythesis Target". You can get things to put on your gear wheel and slow/snare it if you're a wuss.

DE is waging a war on farming but the game is getting better for just playing normally. They nerfed the best syndicate rep farms into the dirt and nerfed the cap per day from any mission, but they buffed syndicate missions and medallions and made every mission have 8/8 medallions instead of 3 or 0. They nerfed the best core farms into the dust but buffed core drops in other mission types. They just got done designing a whole new PBAoE targetting system as a compromise between requiring LoS or not that is based on "awareness" to stop 4-spam and they dropped in a new AFK system so people can't sit in buggy locations spamming skills on a macro (they stop gaining power when they don't move) and they're just getting warmed up...

You probably know about the new frame's little secret by now.

I'm sure you saw prime access...

uh... that's about it. That's all I can think of.

OH, Spy 2.0 is an alternate leveling path now, especially for melee. You get a big XP bonus if you trip no alarms in any of the data vaults. Outside the vaults it's normal and no one cares about alarms but if the alarm is ON when you go into the data vault sometimes guys will follow you or spawn in the hallway and patrol in that direction. Triggering no alarms can be tricky though...
