Ocaz
Before Hotfix 16.1 my PC ran this game amazingly, low temperature stayed at about 70 degrees celcius on my laptop. Now when the game is open for more than 5 minutes my BC heats up to near boiling temperature at an astounding 99 degrees celcius. what happened? This is an absolute problem because i cant play the game anymore, i worry about my poor computer's life.
-dicht.ThanksFrost-
Try removing your laptop battery, it can reduce ur temps by at least 20 degrees
Pythadragon
what is your fps? enable show fps in the game options. if it's over 60 fps, enable v sync or enable a frame rate limiter. unless you are using a special display that has a refresh rate higher than 60, the game is rendering extra frames that you cant see anyways, causing unnecessary heat and component stress. my guess is that your display options got reset or changed due to the update. Ocaz
@Pythadragon yes that was it, my laptop was running the game at almost 200 FPS..... :/ the update did troll my settings, no wonder i couldnt hear my sound since U16 started. And the fact that i had to re-apply all my animation sets shouldve made me look at everything. Thank u! Upvote for you!
Deus_X_Machina
I wondered if Warframe got more heaty lately, guess I was right. Sadly I have a different, problem, don't seem to have fps over 60. I will try removing the battery though, if that helps genreally, that would be nice.
