Different Starting Weapon Loadout Upon Boarding The Ship For The First Time

My brother has recently started playing Warframe and he chose the MK-1 Paris & Kunai as his weapons. However, when he boards the ship for the first time and went to his Arsenal, his loadout showed up as the MK-1 Braton & Lato instead. 

Responses would be appreciated with regards to this issue.

Is he using a past account before U14 or a fresh one? If he uses an old one it'll stilll be the pre-U14 stuff

I see. So even if he goes through the new tutorial and picked the Paris & Kunai as his starting weapon, he'll still be stuck with the Braton + Lato if the said account was made before U14?

Correct but he can buy any of the mk1 weapons in the market for credits if he prefers another weapon.

That guy too. You can take him to 2-3 times in a void mission, than buy them from market > Weapons > Primary/secondary/melee > MK-1

Nah just do a void mission or two, you can't trade credits if that's what you mean.

You can never go wrong with a Limbo+Banish
