What Nationality Do You See In Each Warframe Designs?

There's nothing to base opinions on but pure guesses really, but I guess some associations are easier than others:

Vauban - French, since he was named after a French Engineer and one of his abilities is called Bastille

Volt - Italian, as the Volt as a unit of measurement got its name from Alessandro Volta, the Italian scientist that invented the battery

Loki - Scandinavian, since Loki is a god in Norse mythology

Mesa - Possibly Mexican/American, because of her gunslinger theme and originally Spanish/Portoguese name

Nyx - Greek or Latin, since it was the name of a Greek/Roman goddess

Ash - Japan, because he's basically a ninja

Excalibur, Limbo - Possibly the UK, because of the name in the first case and the "gentleman with a top-hat" theme in the second

Zephyr - BURD

That's pretty much it, really.

Considering this game takes place in some alternate future, I don't think modern nationalities exist in this game. I think my Warframes have a mix of Martian and a form of Astro-earthling.

You were supposed to tell me if they remind you of some nationality, not if they are based on them. :)

All of them are Japanese, because they are Ninjas in the space :v And maybe they don't have a nationality, because the Earth is now belongs to the Grineer... So.... They Are Grineers? Noooo.... They don't have a nationality.

So they were Japanese for a while, but then you changed your mind and they posses no nationality at all.

This is all cool, because this thread is about what they resemble, not where they are from.

Excalibur: Greek and English. Prime version looks like a Spartan warrior, and the name...

Mesa: Old West because gunslinger.Arizona/New Mexico because there are, well, lots of mesas there.

Frost: Alaska. His coat has an Inuit feel to it.

Hydroid: He's a pirate. Somewhere in the Carribean.

Oberon: Northern Europe. He has a pagan feel to him, what with how he practicices magic and looks like a deer.

Nova Prime: Burma. Neck Rings.

Hydroid - Caribian

Limbo - English

Loki -

Mag - German

Mesa - Spanish, Mexican /Wild West

Mirage - France

Necros - Greek

Nova - Korea (i don´t know why... just ..Korea o.o)

Nyx - Greek

Oberon - German

Rhino - Russian

Saryn -

Trinity -

Valkyr -

Vauban - France

Volt - France

Zephyr - Aztec

- without anything means i don´t see any relation to a nation in the art of the frame without knowing why.

Saryn always felt a little French to me. Classy, good posture, powerful strut, fur coat shoulders, femme fatale thing going on- she doesn't even have a face and you can tell she's haughty yet demure.

Vauban's clearly French.

Mesa is a drifter, born to a drug mule mother crossing the border (either direction and nationality) who was murdered shortly after giving birth by the cartel. Thus the spark of vengeance was ignited within.

Nyx is Greek. My ancient goddess. I can imagine her as a very convincing orator in public squares.

Limbo is British! God save the queen! Some earl grey good chap?

Being Australian, I feel like I should have at least one, but the closest I can think of would be Chroma given that those dragon-like lizards used to live here.
