(PSN)Akuma_Asura_
I could see this as a weapon to force finishers with. Would you be interested to see a gunblade version of this? Working on some and I got an idea looking at your concept. Really want this for the quicker finishers. Hell, I'd take it if it was designed to be more of a stanceless melee weapon that's less clunky to do quick E attacks without putting your primary/secondary weapon away and drawing it again (I have some "gun and blade" stance concepts I'm going to start work on soon that fit that purpose too.) I'd love to see it when you guys finish your concepts !

Surrage
The Idea is also not new to the real world: You could look into the so called "pata" an indian weapon. "scholagladiatoria" made a video about one I thought about it yesterday and just searched for it today. The retract would be interesting to see, depending if you make the blade spring out above the fist or from the middle of the fist. The latter would require some kind of "Z-Movement" (getting it on top of the forearm).
