Adaptive Exposure In Fog

During the tactical alert the fog was the worst part.

What I found was adaptive exposure (AE) and colour correction (CC) were causing the fog to light up. Or rather the fog made AE more evident. This made it difficult to see (yes it should be difficult but not in this way) at certain distances. Enclosed areas such as tunnels became problematic as AE would cover the walls and roof. Further away from the warframe colour correction light up the fog while adaptive exposure slowly darkend.

All pictures were take at extraction looking down the slope.

AE does however provide that look of fog about your feet. It's just the light coming from it ruins your view and the look of fog.

I hated this part as well.

Basically, the whole fog idea feels wrong to me. It actually (physically) hurts my eyes (probably because it caused me to unwillingly strain eyes to try to try see better, which of course don't work because it just computer rendered).

Such cheapskate "difficulty", which are likely to cause real physical discomfort, should be avoided.
