Gelkor
This. A kind of Wolverine would be way better than just a male Valkyr ... a male Valkyr... stupid idea! Though that's basically Excalibro now.
Tikka_Qrow
DE played with gender swapping but choose to remove it. Way i see it is a little like MOBAs where frames are the champions you pick. Each frame doesn't represent you, instead you are each frames "god" making them behave in ways you desire without the frames actually noticing. That's why this is 3rd person game and not 1st person+^_^+ From the Wiki; http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Nyx_(Warframe) Apart from the helmet and gender, Nyx's overall design is almost identical to Excalibur. This was the result of a scrapped attempt to create alternative genders to the Warframes during the pre-alpha stages of the game. The prototype Nyx was practically identical to Excalibur, with the only major difference being body shape. Prototype-Nyx's base helmet (which was no different from Excalibur's base helmet design-wise) would occasionally reveal itself in earlier builds of the game, replacing the icon of the Menticide Helmet blueprint during extraction. As has been stated previously, quest dialogue confirms that warframes are suits which your singular player character wears, not separate characters you control. Eldnacpeek
Here we go again. Another day, another user who refuses to forum search. EDIT: Okay, what the hell people, this was posted May 29th and easily should have died. Dammit, I should have read the date. AgentScarlet
This subject is going to keep being brought up until DE properly addresses the issue by either a) releasing genderswapped skins/models for existing frames, or b) providing an official in-universe explanation for why equipping different frames changes your character's sex and build. Probably, both of these are more likely than people actually listening to what expert theory-crafters have determined. AgentScarlet
Yes, some of us don't feel that fan theories are an adequate substitute for actual confirmed lore.
Morec0
Yes, some of us don't feel that fan theories are an adequate substitute for actual confirmed lore. They are certainly not. They can help propose an idea to the community why things are, but they cave under the confirmed lore tidbits.
