Pandora, The Sentient Assassin

Pandora was at first a Sentient Assassin I planned would appear with the Stalker, too bad that topic went so down i can't even find it, but that wont stop me to add the last parts, first Pandora's presentation in this topic, and later, what happens if they kill you, will be the same no matter if its Stalker+Pandora or Pandora alone who appeared to take the kill.

 

Pandora is a Sentient miracle, a warmachine, a monster, this creature is a metamorphic, composed of light, metal dust and a core of pulsating Darkness, it is a foe to fear.

 

I reworked Taboo weapons slightly, to make them more definitive, and give them a place that every RPG has, and I think would be a good twist to Warframe, Taboo Weapons are literally cursed weapons.

 

Lore:

 

Too long ago, we were beaten, we retired, we planned our revenge, we started inventing a weapon, the vehicle of our minds, a sentient far stronger than us, one that could understand and counter void energy, the same energy that we couldn't beat.

 

It was perfect, trained in the conclave way the enemy used against us, equipped with our lattest technology, taking powers from all the warframes we had trapped since that fatidic day the war started. It was out hope, our redemption, a hero to us, but... one day, the devil appeared, a Tenno we had never seen before.

 

We woke up one of our oldest Tenno, long ago a war hero, with dry blood still in his hands, but mind controlled by us, he was a proof of strengh for our light, but when they started fighting to death, he appeared, the lights flickered, and in a split second, the Tenno was cut in half and a shadow was standing in the middle of the bloody rain, he looked like a Excalibur model, but something was wrong.

 

Alarm! Our systems activated, we had to kill it, a Tenno had found our hideout and might be dangerous to our still young light.

 

We attacked, but we were reduced to dust in mere seconds, our cores taken, we could only see how that filthy Tenno aproached our light, and with only a touch, corrupted its core, so white before, now a ball of swirling darkness, they became partners, in a moment, and when he left the place, our light went with him, we lost all, it had all our fears inside, it was the keeper of our hope, the eyes that guided us to the victory, but even when the box was opened and all our fears fled, we still had hope left.

 

We are not lost, we are far stronger than ever, and when we find that demon, we will kill it and take back what is ours!

 

HERE WE SHALL SEARCH AND FIND. THE EYES OF DAY DRINKING THE NIGHT.

 

Form

 

Pandora has no definitive form, it takes many, but it favours 2:

 

-A slender women made of light and metal dust plates with a Darkness Core in her navel (Weakpoint)

Taken when appearing alone, able to create 5-9 small drones to help her in battle.

 

-A Zanuka like appareance, with metal dust plates covering her Darkness core, it favours this form if appearing with the Stalker, to be his trusty companion, able to shoot missile barrages, blind, and fast slashing movements.

 

-A vehicle like form, closer to Tron's Light Bike, able to move at top speeds, creating small wind blast to ragdoll warframes if too close, and able to create solid thin walls for a short time wherever it passes, enough to difficult vision and stop bullets without punch through. shock eximus aura.

 

-A full defensive form, with many metal plates hovering around and counterattacking every bullet they stop, and difficulting melee damage, this one will have a eximus guardian aura and high shield, hard to take down.

 

-A form with strong legs that allows it to make strong jumps and kicks, also wider blitz eximus shockwaves.

 

-A plant like form. Will hang itself from the ceiling and attack tennos with puncture and slash damage leaves, vine whips, Leech eximus hability, can trap tennos into flower buds and drain its health and energy slowly until fellow tennos free them.

 

-Pure fire form, has a heat aura so strong staying too close to it for too long will make a tenno catch on fire, virtually intangible until cc affects it, it will be unaffected, but will become solid for some time, fire heavy machine gun, explosive teleports, arson eximus aura.

 

-Mirror form, Will fight like a Tenno with all its weapons in Taboo form, higher AI, able to reflect physical damage with small metal dust mirrors that float freely, damage though abilities will break these mirrors and leave Pandora open for damage, Artic eximus aura.

 

-Overload form, taken when Pandora has 5% left, not enough researchers to determine this form yet.

 

Pandora will get a damage reduction (80%) if you damage it in any part other than its core, the core will suffer x2 damage if attacked, but to make it show, you will have to irradiate pandora with enough void energy, in that moment the core will open to absorb all that void energy and heal itself (unless enough damage is done to the core) and apply a radial and timed dispell in the area.

I dont have a definitive moveset for Pandora in every form, will be better if DE makes it. Pandora moveset should consist in many more chaotic movements in every form, and the use of every weapon according to the situation.

 

Taboo Weapons

 

Pandora took that name when it suffered a change, it started to carry inside its Darkness Core a series of weapons made by both assassins with hunt trophies, inside of it, these weapons evolved, they condensed all the darkness, the fears, the negative emotions that were accumulated inside of them and with the help of Pandora's Sentient technology and raw power they evolved, not Orokin, not Sentient, these weapons are a Taboo, used to spill divine Tenno's blood, filled with fears, each one represented Darkness itself, and this same state gave them supernatural power, made them living weapons.

 

-These weapons will have a special overflowing aura, darkness, a new element by itself

 

-When in total silence the Tenno that is wielding them can hear low uninteligible whispers,

 

-It can apply Darkness with each hit, and any elemental mod will only add the element as Darkness proc chance.

 

-There will be a Taboo Weapon for every weapon class, for example:

 

Chaos: Taboo Nikana

Heresy: Taboo Gunblade

Blight: Taboo Rifle

Cruelty: Taboo Glaive

Lust: Taboo Dual Pistols

Anger: Taboo Rocket Launcher

Madness: Taboo Sword and Shield

Hatred: Taboo Hate Scythe

Fear: Taboo Dread Bow

Funeral: Taboo Continuous Energy Beam

Disgrace: Taboo Sniper Rifle

 

Each of these weapons not only will be much stronger than any other weapon of its type, but will have a special power that a Tenno will activate with a key input.

 

-Example:

 

Chaos: Dimensional Cut

Cruelty: Black Hole

Lust: Bullet Rain

Anger: Fat Man

Hatred: Black Harvest

Fear: Earth Corruption

Madness: Shadow Defense

Disgrace: Barbed Wire

 

This system has downsides:

 

-When “Death” AoE activates, the user looses 1 hp, but this is a PERMANENT lost, so if you have 500 base HP before “Death” activates, you will have maximum 499 hp when you release it, the lose of 1 hp point doesnt seem too much, but it takes the hp from the base HP, no the one you get with life mods.

 

When special attack activates, the user will lose 1 energy point permanently.

 

These effects carry from mission to mission, and only “Hope” can revert them

 

 

Darkness element explanation

 

-This is a new element, born from the darkness of the soul, the same that impregnates the Stalker and Pandora

 

-It's Effects when applied to a Tenno (Or enemy when using Taboo Weapons) consist in 10 seconds of characteristics draining:

20 Health per second

20 Shield per second

20 armor per second

5 Stamina per second

0.15 Speed per second (attack and movement)

 

-While this effect is active your Warframe will be visually covered in a dark aura and will keep getting weaker while the drained stats go to the Stalker or Pandora (or another user of the Taboo Weapons), after the 10 seconds count is over, all stats returns to the owner save for Health that will stay with the Drainer, and Shields, that will become overshields if necessary for the drainer.

 

Note: It's possible for the Shield and Health to start regenerating while the drainage is in effect, it doesn't stop any kind of regen, be it by Oberon's Renewal, Trinity's Blessing and so.

 

In a weapon, the effect will be the same as syndicate blasts, the effect will be called “Death” upon activation will release a AOE Radial attack around the player dealing 1000 Darkness damage (Neutral to all kinds of health classes, will restore full life and shields to the player and make it inmune to all classes of CC for 30 seconds) and having 100% chances to proc “Darkness”

 

Note: These weapons are cursed, they will damage fellow Tennos and apply “Darkness” to them too if in the AOE range while “Death” activates

 

 

Labyrinth of Oblivion

 

When Pandora or Stalker+Pandora defeats you, you lose your Warframe, when you select it in the Liset, you can only do one mission with it, called "Labyrinth of Oblivion", and a Black Hole leading to that place opens in the Star Chart.

 

Darkness reigns in this place, all is dark and you can only see faint silhouettes, you will lose all your weapons and will be given a light made pistol or sword, while you go through the darkness you will hear all kinds of tortured cries and various sounds,

 

Warning Tenno!!

 

Something is behind you, a dark form will be after you, you must burn it with light to make it go away for a while and leave you to escape the maze.

 

While walking in the maze, you can find shadow enemies that will be hurt with the light weapon, slowing traps, or even a “Hope orb”.

 

The maze has a center with a pedestal for each Taboo weapon in circle, you can leave them when you enter again later, something might happen if you and your friends leave every Taboo Weapon in each pedestal and a “Hope Orb” in the spot in the middle...

 

If you reach the exit its done, you have escaped the maze with your warframe, and with some luck, you have taken Hope back with you

 

Once you manage to get out of the maze, it will stay in the chart for you to go in again wherever you want with fellow Tennos or alone, with any weapon loadout you want, but the maze will change between visits.

 

Hope Orb

 

This mechanical shiny orb drops from Pandora, or is found while traversing the Labyrinth of Oblivion. Has 3 uses:

 

-Revert all negative effects from the use of Taboo weapons in a Warframe

 

-When applied in a normal weapon, will allow this weapon to use the watered down special power from its Taboo Weapon version without negative side effects.

 

Example: A normal Nikana will be able to use a weakened and with less range “Dimensional Cut”

 

-When put in an altar in the Labyrinth with every Taboo Weapon, something will happen...

 

 

Tenno, a new and powerfull enemy approaches, darkness is what it brings, and the trophies we get from it might not be a ray of light, but a punishment for our sins.
