_Rue_
So what if during the extraction phase of a rescue mission, a boss jumps in (complete with animation), to try and kill the hostage? :D Edited May 23, 2013 by _Rue_
Kohira
Are you insane? You want people to quit the game?
Tsukinoki
Its bad enough when a secondary objective pops up during a hostage rescue. It would suck if they tried to add bosses to that as well.
Jingleheimer
Maybe in the future. Right now, though, no way, due to how often the hostage gets stuck on tile geometry. You couldn't simply run to the exit without him anymore... Or someone would have to sacrifice their extraction rewards by staying with a stuck hostage. _Rue_
well it could be for harder levels only.
Kohira
well it could be for harder levels only. Again. Are you insane? During normal boss battles there are always noobs dying. With how stupid the AI is, the hostage will lose his life in 2 seconds. The hostage doesn't know how to dodge or run, he is going to get viciously murdered by whatever boss comes after him. Tulzscha
Not until they fix the brain dead AI of the hostage first. As it is, for rescue missions (especially for alert ones with a ? reward) I have to rely on the Enemy Sense/Enemy Radar exploit to leave that idiot in his cell to rot so I can continue with the rest of the mission unimpeded. I don't want to have my success or failure decided by a liability who has absolutely no sense of self-preservation, extreme phobia of fire that he stops moving in front it, sudden dementia that they endlessly run into walls etc. Edited May 23, 2013 by Tulzscha
