Azazel_The_Fallen
I always play solitaire with actual cards in a dark room lit by a single candle. It adds to the feeling of loneliness I get when I play.
[DE]Artarrwen
Buying a pack of cards is actually cheaper than that, might as well.
ACorpse
To be honest, I expect the unexpected from Microsoft these days. I ain't touching Win10 until at *least* 3-6 months from now, when all these little weird things have been found and fixed by 3rd party workarounds. Dead10ck
Buying a pack of cards is actually cheaper than that, might as well. The game itself is fully functional without purchase, you just have to endure the ads unless you know how to get rid of them.
notlamprey
Stopped reading at "included withing the game." Get this trash out of my face, Matt.
ACorpse
I just threw Win10 onto a VM to have a look. It's still as bipolar as Win8 was; half the settings are in control panel, half in a metro-style settings dialog. All sorts of BS stuff is on by default like error reporting. It has a per-user advertising ID built in and shared with apps (including browser) by default, so it's like a permanent cookie that if you don't know to disable it, it will haunt you. The colour options are horribly restricted (though not as bad as Office 2013 where you only get 3 shades of grey). You can't individually pick title bar/selected items etc colours. It tries to do some horrible derived colour from your background image but if you don't like that all you can do is turn it off. Pastels for Africa. I'm sure someone will knock up a proper colour picker app soon enough though. The start menu, well... At least Classic Shell has a Win10 version. 'nuff said. ACorpse
https://edri.org/microsofts-new-small-print-how-your-personal-data-abused/ "Summing up these 45 pages, one can say that Microsoft basically grants itself very broad rights to collect everything you do, say and write with and on your devices in order to sell more targeted advertising or to sell your data to third parties. The company appears to be granting itself the right to share your data either with your consent “or as necessary”."
(XBOX)SylvEmily
Windows 10 Minecraft Beta: Oh, you wanna mine that coal to survive? Well, gonna cost you $7.00 to even THINK about it, $9 for the Pickaxe, and $203 for the Pickaxe Repair Tool! Oh, you wanted to make a world, buy the World Creation Pack for $5.99! [DE]Artarrwen
Pretty sure that's the same as windows 8. That one was optional. In win10 it comes pre-bundled with the os. The game itself is fully functional without purchase, you just have to endure the ads unless you know how to get rid of them. Oh but do you think they'll stop there? Chris9428
I forgot to reserve w10, but after all the **** I've seen about it so far, I'll definitely not get it. w7 has everything I'll ever need.
