Why Is The Kubrow Module Upgrade Not The Default State Of The Stasis Module?

The one reason many players new like old steer away from Kubrows (besides AI issues) is the cost associated with having one. Just maintaining it at all.

Now DE introduces a batch of changes to make it more bearable... and it's a damn upgrade. I personally don't care much about Kubrows, but it feels quite sickening that Quality of Life improvements require research and build time in the so called "Year of Quality".

To answer your question, this is a free to play game. Free to play games continue to exist and function by means of people  spending money on Store items, not a Subscription, therefore, they can add whatever they like and it won't be crucial to play the game, it just makes it more fun and easier. Example at hand, yes having the Upgrade existing as the Default would have made more sense, however they hadn't finished the code to make it usable in the game yet. They now have, and so, for $2 or less in Platinum, you can have an upgrade which makes it much better to have and Raise Kubrows. Also since this is a F2P game, of course they are going to charge you for it, because it falls under the aforementioned Free to Play system.

However what makes Warframe great compared to most F2P games, is the fact that everything you can find to spend platinum on in the store, (with a few exceptions), can be found by playing the game and grinding it out, so it comes down to which you care about losing more, a few hours to a few days at most, or $2.... I understand where you are coming from with this post, but it seems like you're under the impression that you Quality of Life Improvements should be free, they never are.......

Remember to have a nice day, :)
