Limbo's ability is more like Obito's right Kamui where it allows himself to become intangible and enter a dimension making it impossible for him to get attacked unless someone else enters his dimension. Well that's for Rift Walk. Obito's left eye, the one that Kakashi was once in possession of, worked like Banish.Madara's limbo ability practically conjures up invisible clones.
