Hacking Delay In Spy Missions

On more than one occasion I've fudged up stealthing a spy mission and I lose the data with 1 or 2 seconds on the clock because the hacking UI won't register the success until it's 100% disappeared. I'm sick of this happening, I'll use a cipher as a last ditch effort to get the data and it fails anyway.

 

Hacking needs to be updated so that the moment you solve the puzzle or press the cipher button then it registers as a success.

Its not the game thats failing, its you that is failing, or your computer, thats also logical

 

I can manage to get a perfect run in less than 10 min, it just takes practice.

Like the old saying "Don't blame the game, blame the player"

Coupled with the glitch where you can't rehack doors if you die while hacking, this is an definitely an issue in spy missions.

 

I've seen a player that completed the puzzle just in time to be swiped (to death) by a charger and the door was not hacked. Had to abort for that one.

 

I suspect the delay is linked with connection latency. I certainly get some that seem longer than others.

OP is referring to the fact that a hack is not considered complete until the whole hacking interface fades away. It can be an issue when time is extremely limited, which it is in spy missions.
