What Do You Think About Polarities On Warframes?

Are there really only 2x offensive mods for offensive polarity warframes? This feels like little bit unfair against those warframes who have 1-2 offensive polarities.

Have you heard any rumours about new offensive mods coming or anything? Or what do you think about the thing that defensive & tactical polarities have so much more variation (and usefull cards in my humble opinion)

Maybe it's stupid to start conversation about this just before new stream at 29.5 but... maybe it doesn't hurt so much to ask.

All comments about the topic are appreciated, atleast most likely ^^

PS:Ohh, and let me know if there is hidden thread about this already which i didn't find after 15 seconds searching.

Well its hard to argue for more offensive mods, when the warframes that are the most offensive in game are already heavy damage dealers, with max Ability mods. Far too often people have asked for a better balance of slots for squishy or utility only Warframes.

I think with the right Energy and Defense mods, you can spam just about as much as you want of an offensive Warframe's abilities with no real risk, so why add more overkill damage.

Yeah, im not saying offensive warframes are weak. It's just a bit weird why there has to be offensive polarities on warframes if there really are no cards to pick (except those 2 cards, continuity & focus). Somewhat those offensive polarities just feel like a burden to offensive warframes (im playing lot's of warframes, not only offensive once) but im just wondering if there is any sense to keep those offensive polarities on some warframes if no more mods are coming.

And to make myself clear, I DON'T think like ash, and others are weak, it's just weird there is so few offensive cards when offensive-frames have those polarities on them.

EDIT: And ofcourse, if u want to get points out of your polarities you just have to put continuity and or focus on your offensive-frame, no-decisions included. Frames who have no offensive polarities doesn't have to "waste" points so easily.

I don't know if i should say this or not, but it almost feels like DE decided you should go "this way with offensive warframes" without any opinions of your own.

What i too think no frame should be "forced" to pick up from 1-2 cards, if you don't want to lose points from your "specialised polarities".

>.<

I'm for adding offensive polarity mods that don't necessarily increase skill damage. Maybe overall elemental damage modifiers, that increase all weapons elemental damage by 5% per lvl. or something along those lines. I play as an ash most of the time, and am about to forma a V into a -.

if i had to make any suggestion, it'd be the same as most people, change one of the double "V" polarities on Banshee, Ash and Excal Prime to something else, its sad that players feel obliged to use a forma for those warframes to balance their play style, or add new warframe mods so that players have a bit more of a variety of choise in what to put in those slots, and not force players to only use Focus and Continuity

My suggestion to you guys, is max out your warframe, find some forma, and then make your changes, that's what I did, I added a defensive slot to my Vauban, and I'm already 3 or 4 missions away from maxing it again. Hell, some of my Warframes if I max them out, I'll switch out one or more of the ability slots that I don't need/want because the abilities for that warframe are useless, with something more useful like more defensive slots, offensive slots, or tactical slots.
