SYNOPSIS:
Using the Synoid Simulor with a fire rate oriented build, after firing the weapon as fast as possible, the game indefinitely freezes when Mirage Hall of Mirrors expires.

REPRODUCTIBILITY:
100% reproductible

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

- Equip these mods on the Synoid Simulor:
Vile Acceleration
Speed Trigger
Fast Hands
Magazine Warp

- Equip the Mirage Warframe with a simple duration build:
Primed Continuity

- Play on an online lobby.

- Cast ability 1: Hall of Mirrors

- Shoot the Synoid Simulor as fast as possible (button mash left click)

- Continue shooting and reloading until the Mirage Hall of Mirrors is about to expire

- When Hall of Mirrors expires, the game freezes as all the particles explode

- The game does not recover from the freezing

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
When the game doesn't freeze, it can instead stutter for several seconds.
I have already noticed the game-breaking freeze issue happening with only Speed Trigger equipped. For the sake of testing I have included all fire rate mods and Magazine Warp in order to make the issue easy to reproduce.

SPECS:
Windows 7 64 bits
NVIDIA GTX 760
Intel Core i5-4570 3.20 Ghz
8GB of RAM
Steam

Please note that I've also sent a support ticket but have been receiving cookie cutter "update your drivers" replies instead of an acknowledgement answer.

Thank you for the detailed repro. Following your steps I can definitely see a very large number of particles being drawn the moment Mirage's holograms disappear. Currently looking into a solution on our end.

Until a fix has been released I would recommend lowering your Particle System Quality to "Medium" or "Low".
