-Mr.Meeseeks- Posted September 18, 2015 Share Posted September 18, 2015 I loved the first two Shenmues, and when they announced Shenmue 3 at E3 I nearly lost my damned mind and was ecstatic. But all this Kickstarter nonsense... If they had simply announced that it was Shenmue 3 was being made with the backing of Sony, and skipped on the whole kickstarter thing, the hype would absolutely immense. Now they have a large amount of people who are skeptical about they whole deal due to kickstarter being involved at all. They even have me, a person who loves the Shenmue series more than almost any other series out there, doubting whether or not to get too exited for it to just be let down in the end. And holding features of the game ransom when the money thrown into the pile is going to be 90% made up of Sony's money anyway, is a pretty big $&*^ move. Just make the game as it should be, with everything they feel would make it better, and people will be raving about it just as Shenmue 1 was thought to be groundbreaking for it's time.
