Says Can't Login Because Parental Controls Restricts Me.

This happened a few times today when I tried to get on and it has done several times before. It would cancel my login because I had parental control settings that restrict me yet I never use parental controls.

Please check your Parental Controls/Restrictions on your Xbox and xbox.com.

1. Log into xbox.com

2. Once logged in, at the upper right corner, click your name and then Xbox Settings

3. Click Security, family & forums

4. Click Access to content

 

Ensure that Warframe does not any have restrictions listed.

Couple of additional comments, just in case updating your profile doesn't work.

I have seen in other XB1 games that sometimes child accounts (not child as in age/minor, but child as in attached to a family account) would get set to "protected" when things changed on the Live side - maybe related to changes in the TOS. I have seen in other forums that the parent account was required to update the permissions of the child account.

Additionally, if you are not actually logged in on Live, and only logged in locally, that message can appear. I saw it during the most recent Live outage when I was logged in before the outage but had not started Warframe yet.

Just wanted to mention that I have also had this error pop up on a couple of occasions. Both times it appeared I just retried logging in (without restarting Warframe) and the game let me in. I have no active parental controls set up on my system.
