Suggestion:- Void Key Drop Chances Determined By Planetary Alignment

I am suggesting to base Void key drop chances off where a planet is aligned with other planets and the sun.

For instance if X planet was aligned with Y, there is a higher chance Void keys will be found at X planet than anywhere else in the solar system.

This reduces the high dependence on luck and adds another element to the game which requires some thinking.

Also this can help with giving some guarantee that at X time during the day during the week in a certain month they will have a higher chance of finding void keys than normal.

This can also help clans organize in advance to have Void key hunting parties due to knowing the higher chances of finding void keys on a certain day of the month.

So sort of adds an astronomy type thing to Warframe.

Only issue is how do we find out the time when certain planets are going to have the higher chances of void key drops.

The developers will have to work on a calender or star chart of some sort.

This would be cool if the planets weren't moving at an alarmingly fast rate. If they'd slow down those movements so that the fastest planet would take one day to make a full circle and the slowest planet would take 7 days, then that would be doable

Wow - that would be a really cool mechanic, and something that would work for other things as well. However, it may be a little unfair because of timezones - they would need to work a way around that, like having it twice a day or something?

Perhaps, while aligned, the higher availability would be triggered every 6 or 8 hours to give everybody a chance to use it... assuming they were able to figure out that the planets were properly aligned of course.

Yes the planets will have to be slowed down a lot.

Maybe even more then 7 days, maybe even a month or months.

Yes indeed it could work for increasing the chances of other drop rates.

Or maybe even reducing the drop rate in certain planets if DE see fit.

It would not be unfair on time zones either.

There are many planets and all planets which have defense missions have the chance to drop void keys.

But maybe give one part of the World more of an advantage to collect certain rare items easier if spreading from void keys to rare materials and blueprints.

Yes this would have to be limited but I am not saying the chances of a drop are going to be 100% or even 60%.

I was thinking more along the lines of 50% drop increase for 24 hours.

I feel like planetary alignment should be a thing. Not sure about Void Keys though.

This is just a brain storm to increase chances for people but at the same time not make the chances so in favor of the players that they are able to acquire 50+ drops during the alignment unless they play the game literally non stop.

20 is my ball park figure for someone who enjoys the game and 10 for someone who plays it relatively causally.
