Silentghost14
I notice whenever i have V-sync enabled the game screen tears like crazy making the game sickening to play. This is very unusual because the whole purpose of V-sync is to eliminate screen tearing. Whenever its off everything runs nice and smooth with almost no tearing. Anyone else have this problem? Shifted
Turn it off, add a 72 fps cap. Fixed it for me.(adding motion blur might help too) Frame cap on Warframe greys out the Vsync option. Can't have framecap + vsync on at the same time within the game options. Yeah, I said turn off Vsync and add an fps cap. That means vsync is not on but I don't see any screen tearing (yeah it might be there, but is not visible) Problem is the game seems to choke and always produces sub-cap fps, in my case about 65. That's more or less exactly the amount needed. R9 280x, for reference. Edited October 7, 2015 by Shifted

I did notice that v sync enabled in Warframe AND my Nvidia graphics driver at the same time caused issues. The game liked one or the other being on, but not both. I wonder if there is a similar thing going on with your AMD card. Check your catalyst control panel (if it's still called that) to see if your driver also has a vsync option enabled. Borderless fullscreen and Its off in catalyst control panel unless the app specifies. Frame cap is not the same as V-sync.
