Best Loadout For Pvp For A Newbie

Hey guys, this is my first post! I hope I don't make any mistakes but apologies in advance. I did search for this topic first.

 

I am MR 11 and have been doing only pve stuff and generally avoiding anyone but my RL friends, but PvP always draws me in. I don't know much about it here but it seems to have ranks and I get a limited selection of weapons, mods, and warframes when I test what I can use. I am hesitant to jump in because I have no clue what I am doing. FAQs I found on it are inaccurate, and for example, list things like Loki not being playable, which apparently he is, so I am not sure who is playable, what weapons, what mods, and how effects are changed.

 

 

I was thinking, Loki, vectis prime, hikou prime, dual raza or maybe dual ichor. I don't know if the hikou are permitted, if not the kunai I guess. I don't seem to have mods that are allowed, however. Any advice on this?

 

What are good newbie warframes, weapons, mods, etc? Can I use any particular augments now or later?

Loki isn't allowed for pvp sorry. My personal favorite for pvp is valkyr due to the hysteria buff, it works different in pvp, you get a ton of extra mobility but you get a damage reduction instead of invincibility.

 

As for weapons, yes vectis prime is pretty good, as for melee weapons : something with a good amount of range works well, since orthos isn't allowed anymore, bo prime should work well too. Kunai are allowed, hikou isnt.

 

Don't worry too much about mods for now, only mods you get trough pvp can be used.

I wonder why it lets me select him for conclave mode. Okay, I have valkyr and like her very much. How is oberon asa  support class? My boyfriend prefers healers.

 

I'll try dual ichor first then bo prime maybe (when I get more plat) I like slashing an awful lot tho. Sad I can't use orthos.

If he's selectable maybe you can pick him? I don't have loki myself but wiki says he isn't allowed. Maybe its outdated? 

 

Last time I played pvp (a long time ago because I really don't like pvp here) Energy dropped at specific points on the map, I'm not sure if they changed it since then.

 

Health regen.. honestly when I played pvp there was hardly any need for it.. you only take a few hits to die.. but again not sure if this has become more balanced or not.. my guess is not xD.
