I need help getting the white edges off from the picture,how can i do that?

You mean for it to be invisible?

select the area you want to be see thru and go to colors and set it to "set selection to alpha" then zoom in to see the annoying little edges select the whole image then carefully eraser tool around the lines to clean up the pieces you missed

Aw I was done for a good old 20 minutes, I was trying to figure out how to actually put the image ;_;

Thanks everyone for the repsonses, but it seems like every time on the preview there are still whie edges for the image, will they still stay in the game too then?

Make sure it's saved to your computer as a PNG image; right click the one I posted, click 'save as', and make sure that it saves to your drive as a PNG file; not a JPEG.
