Charge Attacks Get Added?

Did charge attacks get added? I didn't see anything about it in the patch notes and I could swear that Geoff said they were coming in U18.

I have yet to check nor am I able to right now.

Can anyone give me a confirmed answer?

Add Nikana (Blind Justice) to that list.

 

It does have a charge attack, you just can't start it immediately.

 

Also, sword DOES have a charge attack, every category (that has functional charge attacks) has 2 charge attacks.

Or in the case of Glaives....terrible.

So Far I tested via simulacrum; Sword, Dual Sword, Hammer, and Polearms don't have charge attacks. There may be more to this list because I lack a few weapon types.

It's impossible to use a charge attack on certain stances that have a combo with Hold E as the second button (Blind Justice). They've completely ruined Glaves and the Redeemer since their charge attacks are far too slow to use.

Holding the melee key does the same as one of the combos, it adds nothing new. Compared to the Crimson Dervish charge attack, the two are completely different things.

 

 

Also, some things were change about how melee combos work. All hold-S combos are broken now.
