Idea For Alert/sortie Defense

Instead of a set amount of waves, how about a set amount of time. For example 10 minutes of none stop enemies rushing to blow up the cryopod. I think it would be much more fun than the current form as the enemies getting stuck combined with the down-time between each wave really adds up.

 

"But then people could just spam CC the whole time"

-People do that anyway, the only real difference is the constant action versus action-stop-action-stop-action-stop.

 

Thoughts?
