(PSN)Pharen
I hope they buy Silent Hill and MGS away from Konami, or frankly any company is better than Konami (except maybe Koei Tecmo) No reason why they couldn't just remake the IP under a different name

TheErebus.
that indie one looked promising? what was it again allison road? It does look good, but I feel as though the game is just P.T. It isn't Silent Hill. It's just P.T.

Well it is a demo, same as P.T. we wont be able to judge it until we see some more progress.

No, what I mean is that it's just P.T. as in it's the same gameplay as P.T. Totally different than Silent Hill (which is what I really want). TheErebus.
Homecoming and Downpour. Homecoming wasn't that bad. It had neat ideas (although the story was essentially a variant of Silent Hill 2's story), the gameplay was nice (although it focused on melee waaaay too much), I adore the monster designs. They are my favorite thing about Homecoming. Downpour was just boring in my opinion. Nothing of great interest ever really happens and I found the story to be bland. Monsters were not very interesting and it had some neat moments but those were rare.

I just found the change from avoiding monsters as much as possible to attacking them as much as possible to be too much of a change for a silent hill game. But yeah, I do have to agree on the rest. unknow99
The GameCube MGS, The Twin Snakes, was basically a remake of MGS1 on the MGS2 engine. Also, if you haven't figured it out yet, Hideo Kojima created Metal Gear... Ok thanks for the reminder. :) And of course I know who Kojima is, u tenno skoom. Sibernetika
They ported OG Metal Gear to 360, and made the Subsistence (I think that's what it was called) collection for 360 too (MGS2, 3, and Peacewalker) AFAIK the only main games to still be PS exclusives are MGS1 and 4. Console exclusives maybe but the original mgs1 was pc released as well
Eftycchia
Blame Kojima for inventing the phantom cigar. Other than that he's a cool guy. Boy i sure hope Konami will 100% succeed with their metal gear pachinko machine, like, totally. Not a sarcasm or anything.
