Madurai Passives

Good day fellow Tenno

 

So i just would like to understand how exactly Madurai passives work as the one sentence explanation does not cut it for me. here is phoenix gaze for example off of wiki

 

"Phoenix Gaze increases Slash damage by 10% / 20% / 25% / 30% for the duration of the mission."

 

so some questions

 

1. is the slash damage that is increased just on phoenix gaze?

2. is the slash damage increased on all weapons?

3. is the slash damage increased for all allies?

4. does the slash damage only increase " for the duration of the mission" after you have used phoenix gaze the first time?

2. Yes, if there is slash damage.

3. No, it is a self-buff.

4. Yes, you need to cast the F***-off laser once, after that the passive is active.

I can answer numbers 3 and 4 at least:
3 all passives, unless they specifically state otherwise, apply to the player only

4 It only happens after the first time you use the power in a mission, so not so useful for short missions but handy in endlesss mission types.

To trigger passives you have to first use your 5 and then they last the rest of the mission. 

 

Guessing time now:

As for what all slash it covers i would assume only yours not entire teams and my guess would be only the base slash of your weapons.

You have to activate the Focus in order to get the bonus from passives.

It increases physical damage dealt by you alone, if you have Slash damage on your weapons that is.

1. No. Phoenix Gaze is Blast type damage, it has no slash component in it.

2. Only weapons, does not work with abilities.

3. Self buff.

4. After activation of Phoenix Gaze, stays for the duration of the mission or until death.

Are you sure about it? Other passives like Energy Overflow (Zenurik) work after death (and revive). Only cooldown counter resets.

That's wrong. Every weapon gets the buff. I get slash/puncture/impact procs on weapons without any of those damage types, like simulor and tonkor.
