[Spoiler] What Does Weight Of Justice Actually Do?

I'm an Unairu follower, and while experimenting with some of the stuff on offer there's Weight of Justice, which I have the first level of so far. "Petrified enemies sustain 2000 damage per second from Basilisk Flare." Does this mean petrified enemies take an additional 2000 damage per second from being petrified, like Crushing Force, or does this mean once an enemy is petrified Basilisk Flare becomes a 2000 dps weapon while they are still being hit by the beam? I've been using it a while and can't really tell if it's doing anything at all.

yes it is an additional 2000 dps on the actual tree is says the word additional iirc. at least it does before you unlock the power.

its 2000 dps when you hit an enemy with basilisk flare after they have been petrified AND you need to keep the beam on them for the damage to happen
