Help With Screen Tearing, Mouse Lag And Refresh Rate.

I am not a hardware nerd, but my monitor (1366x768) is 60Hz, so in the Refresh Rate Option it should be 60Hz instead of 59.79Hz, no?

Also, I am having Screen Tearing sometimes and I know if I enable VSync, it should Fix the Screen Tearing, BUT if I enable VSync, I get mouse lag/mouse input delay.

Anyone know how to fix the Mouse Lag/Input Delay? So I could turn VSync on and fix the Screen Tearing issue.

Try windowing your screen and stretch it to full size. That did miracles for me in terms of lag and processing

using Radeon Pro or Nvidia Inspector for AMD/Nvidia GPU's is suggested to have VSync on with less Input Latency - setting Game specific profile settings for capping Framerate to 1-2 lower than Refresh Rate while VSync is in use usually helps with Input Latency considerably.

 

also, fun fact, your '60Hz' monitor, isn't. none of them are. for compatibility with Film type media.

however, it should be running at 59.94Hz... not 59.79 - so that's concerning as well.
