Aksomati - Pure Crit Build Worth It? (Including New Event Mods)

So i've basically stuffed my Aksomati full of crit mods, which is nice since it takes advantage of it's amazing 3.0x crit damage.

However this leaves me no mod slots for any elementals.

 

- Hornet Strike                      +180% Dmg

- Multishot                            +120%

- Lethal Torrent                     +50% Multishot +50% Fire Rate

- Sharpened bullets               +75% Crit Dmg for 9 seconds (On kill)

- Hollow Point                        +60% Crit Dmg - 15% Dmg

- Primed Pistol Gambit          +153% Crit Chance

- Primed Target Cracker       +90% Crit Dmg

- Hydrolic Crosshairs             +135% Crit Chance (On Headshot)

 

It does good damage anyway, but i'm not quite sure whether it's worth it or if i should exchange hollow point for an elemental

I'm going to max out the mods for calculations.

 

Damage per non-crit body shot is:

25.2 * (1 + 2.2 - 0.15) * (1 + 1.2 + 0.6) = 215.208

 

Damage per crit body shot is:

215.208 * 3 * (1 + 0.75 + 0.6 + 0.9) = 2098.278

 

Critical chance is:

20% * (1 + 1.87 + 1.35) = 84.4%

 

Total damage per shot is:

215.208 * 15.6% + 2098.278 * 84.4% = 1804.5

 

 

A cookie-cutter 2-elemental + 1 utility (Seeker or Ammo Mutation) build is 2300 damage per shot.

 

 

You'd need to get consistent head shots to beat out a cookie-cutter build, and I'm pretty sure you're familiar with the Aksomati's accuracy.
