Thief's Wit Showing Loot That Doesn't Exist

So, this thing has been bugging me for a very long time, and I couldn't find an answer for it. If it was already posted on this forum, I apologize.

There is one room in the void (i don't know if the room has a name or not, but you can see it in this screenshot. It has big floating balls on either side of it) where Thief's Wit (and probably Loot Decetor) will display a loot-marker on the minimap even if there is nothing there.

This is the place, and you can see on the minimap that something's detected there. But even with a Codex Scanner, I can't find anything there. Carrier doesn't collect it either.

 

Any ideas what it could be?

May have gotten caught in the pit in that area and didn't respawn back up.

it could be picking up the ammo drop sitting next to you.

Yeah, I usually see something there too. But there isn't anything to pick up. Figured there was a container under the ground, but AoE doesn't hit it, so guess it's just a glitch.

I additionally have seen this container on my minimap, and it drives me crazy on Sabotage missions. It seems like a bug, there is never a container there, yet the icon is always there with Thief's Wit or Animal Instinct.
