ScoutElite
I have ran into 1 manic in the past week and 1 not to long ago and they will not die I was in a squad of 4 and we shot and shot but that health bar did not move one bit. I even but him to sleep. Is there a special way that you have to kill him??

0 Vastarov
Manics can get into a sort of "invulnerable" status when they're slowed down, blinded or in any way movement-wise debuffed in the middle of a teleport animation. To unstuck them, move to a different area: they will pursue you and thus get vulnerable again. 0 torint_man
You can only hurt them when they are out of their invincibility timer. Anything that slows manics (molecular prime, snow globe) will extend the invincibility timer. The timer will activate after every third of the manic's healthbar. 0 taiiat
when a Manic Teleports into view and is... viewable, shoot it. after some hits he'll go invisible, and do some stuff, moving around and looking for Players to pounce on. he'll Teleport back into view again shortly, shoot again. repeat until dead. note that using Abilities to slow the Manic will not give you more time to shoot it, i.e. he'll still run when you do enough Damage, (though you'll have an easier time doing so so i still consider a benefit) but also has a tendency to cause the teleporting around and other stuff to take longer. do not use Abilities which would halt the Manic completely. like Nullifier Shields, it takes a lot less bullets to deal with than people usually use. you'll be a lot less frustrated if you don't constantly shoot at it regardless of what state it's in.
