Target Practice And Sparring Room In The Orbiter

We should have a room on the Orbiter that's a room to practice with our various guns and blades.

 

Using blade stances as an example, we currently have only 2 ways to test out various combos:

1) Join a mission and either quit or finish it after trying out the stance

2) Go to a relay, upstairs to Simaris' room, then login to the Simulacrum (if you even have the key)

 

It would be great for new all players if we could just walk down to our sparring room to test out how that new stance or weapon feels without having to enter a mission. The simulacrum would just expand on this by testing the effectiveness of various builds of a fully modded/ranked weapon on enemies themselves.

 

 

 

An alternative could be that this sparring room is what is used in place of the current Simulacrum located in Relays. It would start out as a basic sparring room available to all players as mentioned above, however as you complete scans for Simaris he gives you access to the data he's collected in Sanctuary for you to use in your sparring room to create holographic enemy projections.

 

It could also be made to allow players to construct their own fighting room and perhaps incorporate various elements from the Mastery Rank tests as they're completed.
