How Does One Use The Sinoid Simulor?

Just shoot the balls in the general direction of the enemy and wait for a times aoe explosive?

The balls combine if they hit each other causing a lot more damage in an immediate blast and get bigger. Keep combining shots by shooting the same direction.

and secondary fire (middle mouse by default, i forget what it is for consoles) detonates the balls prematurely.

Yeah, Simulor is definitely different from every other weapon in the game that comes to mind. IMO the attraction speed should be increased or have a bit larger area where they kind of "snap" together like magnets. I can't use Simulor without Mirage because it feels way too slow to me otherwise. Although with Mirage it's also a bit overpowered, but whatever.

This... Can people please start doing this after killing things? I hate when people spam their Sim all over the room and leave them there so that all mine get dragged off target from what i was trying to kill. The alt also gives an electric proc that stuns mobs and this is quite useful in later wave content when it starts taking multi shots to kill things.
