We Need An Option To Boot Teammates.

Because I'm currently trying to join a specific defense mission (Valefor in Europa) and keep getting added to a party with this guy who has been afk for the part hour or so, and thus can't start the game. It's very frustrating. I could attempt it alone, but that doesn't fix the issue. What of the people who don't have a Warframe suited to soloing? What about lower levelled people who need the resources/experience? We really need this to be added to the game.

They could implement a way to skip matches or pick the ones we find more suiting.

Well, for these kinds of issues, an AFK timer would fix it. It's been discussed before, but to no avail. It really does suck to miss out on games/have to wait/quit, etc. One objection to the AFK timer is that it can still allow exploiting for people who are there "enough" not to trigger the automatic kick from game. But for those that are legitimately away and forgot or got pulled away beyond their control, they should get kicked. It should be long enough to not penalize someone who told his clanmates that he was stepping out for a smoke or running to the rest room, but short enough that it might be worth it to wait if you're close to the end, or have finished objective, etc.

You add a player to a blacklist and matchmaking system will never match you with that player again. Or that player with you. Unless it's a premade squad

The blacklist linked to ignore isn't something you see often but have encountered it before. I'm all for this It only benefits everyone.

 

Trolls and grief have to be dealt with they represent an innumerable loss to revenue. They stay and create a revolving door of profit loss. Most laugh at trolling, shake our head, roll our eyes, use an ignore list and deal, but not everyone. You know that whole rage quit term. That's a potential client gone. Where the troll stays,often a free player attracted to free titles. Not so much to do with the financial state of an individual, but the ease of repeating the same acts with only the cost of time to recreate another account when banned instead of investing monetary assets.

 

There isn't much that can be done It's up to the discretion of the staff. When severe or repeated violations of a ToS occur you can brick an isp but that can be circumvented. And when the law is broke the CDA,COPA or CIPA only take action if the event was reported by the victim or staff.

no we don't, because then every single self-entitled 12 yr old will be ego-tripping kicking people for no reason and ruin the game for the rest of us.  I've seen it happen.

This keeps coming up, answer is always the same. You have the ability to play with only like minded players. It's called the contacts list, use it. Kicking will be a troll tool. It has been in every other MMO that has had it.

If they add in a kick option you'll see a huge amount of people who will host games and then kick all of the group right before extraction meaning no one else will get anything. People dont need another troll tool.

Blacklist would be better....and use your contact list.
