Sands of inaros, tomb protector (a few questions)

what rank is needed to defeat this boss? currently i am loki rank 5 and have no idea how to beat him. what weapons do i need for it? 

 

and is it possible to kill him with party, or do i have to solo him?

You can kill him in a party if they have better-more powerful-gear.

You could also do it solo, but you need some of the harder hitting weapons to kill them.

I accidentally instakilled the Protector when trying to lifestrike myself back to health. Turns out any dagger with Covert Lethality and a frame (Equinox, Ivara, Ash...) that can trigger stealth finishers on aware enemies makes this fight kinda broken.

can loki frame do the same?

I did it solo with ash prime.....I do all quests solo besides he last mission for the quest of the golem...stupid boss that was.

 

But yeah you have to kill him and best to go in recruiting chat to ask for help.

Your Loki in the first place will get swatted by this boss so you need another warframe and some suggested weapon's are tonkor/dread, sonicor, and war;broken-war/nikana prime. Also, your best chance at beating this boss is with a party.

If I'm not mistaken all party members have to have a sacred urn to join the mission. I tried inviting a random once and that's what it said. Then again, I was on the giant stone guys and not the protector, so maybe it's different.

I tried trhe mission but i ran out of ammo at his third form. i was using a paris prime with corosive and a MAX serration, point strike, vital sense, and split chamber but i ran out of ammo and had to resort to despair and my fragor which did not do anything to the guardian

I even saved energy for multiple iron skins but in the end i was out of energy, ammo, and revives.

That's what ammo, energy and health restores are for :) Build a few and keep them close. You never know when you need one.

i used frost with dread, sonicor and broken war but it was still hard because i ran out of ammo realy quick

if you use dread for the tomb protector and sonicor for the statue you can win but bring some ammo restores

If you really need the easy solution, just take Valkyr and spin2win.

I've tried to Orthos/Naramon them, but I usually get hit by the protector's poison... I've tried excal, ash, nova... I probably just suck or have terrible mods... For the weapons I used the dread or the tonkor, paired with the lex prime. I still haven't beat it... I think I really need to get Steel Charge, Quick Thinking and Rage...

I went with my friend and we beat it until the last statue then we died. I never felt more fustrated
