Question about blocking animation when sprinting with Kronen

So I recently picked up Kronen and noticed that the blocking animation when sprinting has the blades held out as if hand gliding, is this the intended animation?

The reason that I am curious about this is that blocking while moving normally they are held in an X pattern in front of the warframe. I think it is hilarious running around with the blades and even hands looking to be palm opened out, but if it is a bug, sorry for placing this thread in the wrong area.
