Stances and Polarities.

So, I have the Clashing Forest in my stance slot, but the combos never go off. Is this because the polarity of the Clashing Forest Mod and the polarity of my Tipedo is different. I want to know, because I am really confused. Thank you i advance.

Combo's only occur if you are holding the melee weapon, no change to combo will occur if you are using your primary or secondary and just pressing the melee attack button (Except with certain stances which change the primary attack pattern)

Hold F or TAB to draw the melee weapon

I assume you've got the mod leveled up to unlock the combos in the first place, yes? Aside from that, you need to have it equipped in your hand instead of the quick melees holding a gun.

make sure your stance is maxed out, that will give you all your combos, and make sure you've held the button down when changing weapons until you draw your melee.

also, the Stance you'll be better off with is Flailing branch if you can get it, it should fit in your Stance slot perfectly and give you +10 mod capacity.
