For those who don't know : Ben and Ed is a video game where you play as a Zombie named Ed, and you must rush through levels full of traps in order to reach your friend Ben. A video will explain everything much better than I do : (All credits to JackScepticEye) The reason why I want to talk about it isn't because the game is actually pretty awesome, but because since Ben and Ed's lastest update there's some creepy stuff hidden in the game, leading to a really well made alternate reality game (ARG). If you are not afraid about being spoiled, or if you already finished the game, click the spoiler button. Spoiler At the end of the game, Ed eats Ben alive. The Benpocalypse update allows the player to play as Ben, who turned into a zombie (likely by Ed). Finishing the last level of the game with Ben reveal a special, scary ending screen revealing coordinates. Okay, that image does not look scary at all. But it's another thing when you play (Credits to Trickster512 from youtube). Those coordinates lead towards a small river in Essen, Germany. This is where some people discovered a few stuff like creepy drawings, a MP3 or a bone. You can learn more about this in this video : (All credits to Dice Pirate) But that's not all folks ! The game also contains another easter egg hidden in one of its level. After a small, hard to find and tedious alternate path, the player ends in front of a small sign suggesting them to consult an hidden facebook page : https://www.facebook.com/bennnnnnnED Inside that facebook page : unsettling videos, more creepy drawings, crude edition of images hinting towards Ben's real fate... Some people actually think that easter egg has something to do with a local short news item involving cannibalistic people who killed and ate a child. Scary, uncanny, and simply genius.
