-GothKazu-
Does it work with Ash's because i havent seen it, but ive seen Excal do it 8 times Just to prevent future questions: How does ShadowStep work? What abilit weapons does it work with? Any tips & tricks to share
1 (PSN)horridhal
Ash's abilities don't proc critical attacks, they are considered finisher damage and completely bypass armor. That's why it doesn't proc with Ash. Shadow Step procs on a critical (Yellow or Red hit) from a melee weapon or, in Excal's case, from the waves off EB. It works well with any melee focused build you are running, with it synergizing best with Excal due to EB waves being able to proc the effect. It wasn't from his abilities. Bladestorm and Teleport both proc finishers, not critical hits. If the Ash swings his melee weapon and gets a crit hit on an enemy the normal way, he'll get the same bonuses any other frame gets. 0 Roboplus
The videos you saw weren't from Shadow Step. They were from an Arcane that procs invis from dealing finisher damage. Arcanes are acquired from raids and are unrelated to Focus.

Are you certain the ash did not have arcane trickery on? If I remember right that arcane is more or less guaranteed to proc when ash uses bladestorm.
