So I got a 50% off coupon yesterday and decided to buy kubrow armor. But I for got to use the coupon and spent 90p instead. I submitted my request but haven't gotten an answer yet. What's the average amount of time it takes for DE to help?

The 50% off coupon is to buy plats, you get 50% off on a platinum pack. It doesn't decrease the price of an item, but the price you've to pay to get platinum (the € or $ price or whatever country you're from)

Depending on the urgency of the request, how much traffic they've got at the time you sent your request, and who's working on the support tickets right then, it can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days.

Don't worry too much, they'll work it out for you eventually.

Not on consoles.  They don't get Platinum discounts as log in rewards, presumably because they buy Platinum through Microsoft or Sony and I guess they don't let DE give out discounts on their stores.  Instead they get a discount on a purchase from the market.

Yeah, typically we get 2 Plat sales a year and it's around 50% off at best. Spring Sale and Holiday Sale (either Black Friday/Cyber Monday or Christmas) are typically our only ones. No worries, though. We get those (almost) guaranteed sales while PC doesn't. It's basically our compensation for not being able to get plat discount coupons. We also, as mentioned, get the market discounts. Our plat trade values are also garbage compared to PC. You can typically sell a set for 200P on PC and get buyers, on X1 at least, it's you either get people selling for 500P for the same set, or you can only get around 75P for it. We typically don't get the nice middle-ground.
