Trading Maybe?

Does anyone else think it might be better if we could trade???

 

First of all i know a lot of people who need weapons and all but they can't afford platinum and then there are people who spend a lot of money on platinum and have some left over.

Also i think you should sell and trade the resources(Morphics,ferrite and salvage) for some weapons, i play TF2 and the trading system they have is great as they use steam, which Warframe those have as well so we could add steam trading to the game.

 

But the bad thing is that if trading was added no one we buy platinum and instead trade credits and resources for weapons instead of buying them with platinum, making some the Warframe guys get no money and in the end they would probably scrap the trading idea.

 

 All i know is a sure want this trading system to be added.

After hearing all of your comments, i though maybe you can trade credits and mods and resources and also weapons BUT not platinum. This is because people could make a new account and trade the 50 plat to their main account and also then no one will buy plat.

 

Also a new update should be that you can buy resources at a high price as it takes me ages to find the right resources for a blueprint, this will help greatly as my friends buy loads of blueprints but never get the resources they want.

 

Trading blueprints would be a good and a bad idea at the same time as you could lend a blueprint to you friend so they don't have the trouble to buy them but the bad thing is that no one will buy stuff from the store and instead plead theier friends to lend them a blueprint.

 

Adding more comments on how you think about this will greatly help the community to find out if its good to have a trading system( via steam probably)

Although i agree that a trading system would make alot of things way easier. it would probably end up making Warframe go bust. The way it works from my understanding, is that Warframe runs off of the money we spend on platnium, donate, and the founders packs. if they were to implement a trading system. they would have also introduce platnium-only items. with incentive to purchase them. it would cause a massive gap between thoose with money and thoose with out. which in turn causes some very unhappy feedback from the community, and creates a feeling that the people who run warframe only give a flying monkey dong about thoose of us with money. which we all know is total bull. but that feeling still ends up being there. hell that feeling's there now amongst people who dont spend time on the forums. Maybe instead of being able to trade items with freinds. you could purchase common materials for credits. i think that would be a healthy compromise, and would make alot of things way easier.

Trading is already announced (in fact it was planned to be part of U8) although it will be "very limited and probably in-clan only". Don't expect any Pt exchange - this would be easily exploited considering that all new accounts 50 Pt for free.

 I much doubt it'd take any money from them. Besides making the game more attractive and increasing the player base, there'd be the players looking for an easy cash solution to their grinding problem.

Its also a security issue in my opinion since it would instigate those who like to use cheats/hacks into using these illegal methods to obtain ingame advantages or steal from other players.

Trading is coming but you will only be able trade MODS you get in a mission with teammates...

So, if my brother and me run a mission TOGETHER and each one of us gets 5 mods we could theoretically trade those 5 mods between us...

You won't be able to trade Mods you got in other missions or blueprints/frames/weapons/resources etc

Mods, BPs, and Credits. That's all I want to trade. My 900k credits and duplicate BPs/Mods do me no good.

 

Every Mod can be obtained without platnium, every BP can be obtained without platnium, and Credits rain from the sky. I see no reason why we can't freely trade these. The only things I can see possibly being limited are BPs acquired from research, that's it.
