Gattoddo
I'm playing Warframe from different pcs with different output device but the sound menu only allow me to choose music, ordis or general volume; would like to choose, first, audio codec to match my output device: Mono, Stereo, Multichannel, Dolby Headphones, Dolby Prologic II, Dolby Atmos, THX, DTS, DTS HD Master Audio, Neo, etc. Once I've selected codec, option can perfect my volume control letting me adjust various aspect like ambient, enemy talk, enemy weapons, enemy walk steps, warframe weapons, warframe walk steps, etc. Something structured like this: Sound Menu 3.0 + Master Volume: 0---------MAX + Music Volume: 0---------MAX + Setup: + + Output: + + + External + + + Earphone + + Codec: + + + Mono + + + Stereo + + + Multichannel: + + + + Dolby + + + + DTS + + + + etc. + Multichannel Volume Adjust: + + Enemy: + + + Weapons: 0---------MAX + + + Walk Steps: 0---------MAX + + + Talk: 0---------MAX + + Warframe: + + + Weapons: 0---------MAX + + + Walk Steps: 0---------MAX + + Ambient: 0---------MAX
[DE]George
Thanks for the suggestion. As far output format (stereo, 5.1, etc) is concerned, the game will auto-adjust based on your sound card's (or Windows audio) settings. So if you have your sound card set to 5.1 for example, the game will output the audio in that format. As far as separate controls for things like enemy steps and weapons, that is all handled in the Sound Effects slider in the audio options. For now, there are no plans to break sound effects out into further sliders.
