Mesa ult crit chance

So I was trying my mesa this afternoon to see how the secondary mods scaled with the ultimate, and I noticed I can't do reds crits. according to the wiki the base crit is %50 so if I equip my maxed prime pistol gambit why am I not getting red crits roughly %50 of the time?

%50 +%(50x1.87)= %143.5 crit chance

does mesa's ult have damage/ crit chance caps? or is the base damage/ crit shown on the wiki wrong right now?

Mesa's peacemaker stats were readjusted as per the patch notes, not sure if the new stats were ever released by DE as if you do a search on the forums, your question has popped up multiple times the last several days since patch.

My guess is they haven't, as the wiki is updated pretty regularly when the information is available and typically has the patch number indicating the change.

I don't think any of the exalted weapons can red crit ? (Maybe exalted blade with the right build but melee mods are different and even then I don't think it can).

The crit chance seems to be around 25%, but can't say for sure.

Primed Pistol Gambit + 1 maxed Arcane Avenger takes me to Red Crit Zone.

I'd wager 30% base. 25% is too low for the amount of red crits I see, 35% can red crit without avenger (albeit barely).
