How does Arcane Arachne work?

How does Arcane Arachne work? Is there some sort of indication when it triggers, so that you'll know you get the bonus for the next hit? Do you need to perform the next hit from the wall-latch, or can you just drop down and walk around for a while until before you go ahead and hit the opponent? If you can drop down without losing the bonus, how long does the bonus stay triggered? Is there a visible count down for it, or does the effect hold indefinitely until you hit something with your melee? Can you wall-latch, release, wall-latch, release, and so on, in quick succession until it takes hold? Is the activation chance rolled when you initiate wall-latch, or at certain intervals (for example, every second spent wall-latching)? Does the bonus apply to thrown melee weapons/Redeemer? What about bullet jumps? Warframe melee powers (hysteria, exalted blade)? Is this thing useable in the conclave?

You can get off the wall and keep the bonus so you can use it later. It'll be there till your next shot.

Yes, you can wall latch over and over till you get the bonus.

It activates (or not) upon latching, not during the latch.

Dunno if it affects thrown weapons, I believe it doesn't. For some reason it doesn't work for projectile weapons and thrown melees count as projectiles, right? x)

Arcanes don't work in Conclave.
